The Suacci Vineyard consists of 6.5 acres of south-facing slopes in the Sebastopol Hills of Blucher Valley. Located in a particularly cool pocket of the Russian River Valley AVA, this vineyard's microclimate is known for its coastal influence with short windows of warm temperatures and assertive ocean breezes from the Petaluma Gap. With low yields and tiny clusters, this vineyard consistently produces pinot noir with intense, complex flavors and pronounced acidity.
2014 Suacci Pinot Noir -This wine boasts a palate of core of blackberry pie, cherry cola, tobacco leaves, and violet aromas. The fresh palate showcases ripe currant, pomegranate, and cocoa shavings, offering a subtle yet structured body. The harmonious combination of flavors and structured tannins creates a melodic wine experience.
2015 Suacci Pinot Noir - The wine exudes a rich aroma of blackberry and spice that immediately captures the senses. Medium-bodied and full of character, it reveals flavors of bramble, cherry, and subtle hints of hibiscus and vanilla. Toasty oak adds depth, while well-balanced acidity provides harmony. The invigorating finish leaves a delightful, mouth-warming spice sensation.
2016 Suacci Pinot Noir -This wine captivates the senses with its pronounced aromas of buttery, sweet cherry that seamlessly transition into delightful notes of sweet cranberries and subtle hints of tobacco. On the palate, flavors of dark cherry, dried cranberry, and nuanced oak, reminiscent of tobacco, envelop the taste buds. The wine concludes with a long, lingering finish that showcases strong accents of black currant and vanilla.
